The hotel has a charming ambiance reminiscent of old Havana, with beautiful high ceilings and a fantastic location near bustling spots. The staff is friendly, but the dining experience could use improvement, particularly at breakfast. Expect some plumbing quirks in an otherwise lovely place.

Charming ambiance with friendly staff
My recent stay in this lovely hotel was quite delightful. The high ceilings and beautiful decor made me feel like I was living in a piece of history. The location is perfect for exploring Merida, and I especially enjoyed relaxing in the indoor courtyard. However, the noise from the street at night was quite disruptive, which could be improved for a better experience.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! We loved exploring the caves and going on an ecotour nearby. The location is unbeatable, and the staff really went above and beyond. Don't miss the spa treatments—they're pure bliss!
However, the room was pretty humid with no windows, which was a bit uncomfortable.

And don’t even get me started on the comfy beds and the clean rooms, it felt like a slice of heaven after a day of exploring. Plus, the location is just a hop away from some awesome eateries like Los Trompos and Pizzeria La Fogata.
Now, on the flip side, I was expecting a nice balcony view, but ended up with a tiny room overlooking a noisy street, which was more of a window than a balcony. Also, the valet parking situation was a bit chaotic—it could use some serious improvements.
